I’ve been involved with video editing for quite sometime. I started back in 95/96 when I worked as production assistant and sometimes was also interviewing people for a daily touristic TV show in Brazil. Then after a long hiatus I got involved in the open source community and decided to volunteer at WordCamp.tv, editing WordCamp video presentations from around the globe. I am currently editing the videos for WordCamp Fortaleza 2016.
After all these years, I found out that there are some good tools that are free and open source for non-linear video editing. I will be giving the top 4 I liked the most reviews in the next posts soon. Here ate the top 4 Open Source Video Editing tools I like:
- Blender
- OpenShot
- Shotcut
- KDEnlive
Stay tunned for my reviews on the the video editing tools above. What’s your favorite software for editing videos?
